Meet the Team
Kevin Link
Co-Founder & CEO
Mr. Link is one of the Co-Founder's of Cold Compliance and has been active with the creation of the company since 2016. Previously, Mr. Link was Co-Founder and Senior Vice President of Hughes Telematics (now known as Verizon Telematics).
As a member of the Executive Team since its inception in 2006, Mr. Link served in various Strategic roles within the company. His most recent role included serving as Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing and PR as well as the General Manager of the China operation. In these capacities, he was responsible for building the Hughes Telematics brand and served as the global spokesman for the company.
Mr. Link was inducted into the TU Automotive Hall of Fame in 2016 and was also recognized as the Telematics Professional of the Year in China in 2015.
David Gill
Co-Founder
David Gill is leveraging his 25+ years as the owner of Cold Freight Services(CFS). He is a Co-Founder of Cold Compliance and jointly created the concept for use with the CFS refrigerated fleet. CFS specializes in perishable expedited freight.
He also developed another concept to provide emergency assistance to Cold Compliance clients experiencing mechanical failure with their refrigeration units. Whether the client has restaurants or a refrigerated fleet, our network of emergency coolant options buys critical time for refrigeration repairs.
Michael Shaffer
Co-Founder
Michael Shaffer is the technical expert behind Cold Compliance and acting CTO of Cold Freight Services(CFS). He is leveraging his 15+ years of IT experience in the perishable freight industry to design and perfect the M2M and IoT platform we proudly use at Cold Compliance.
As the head of technology and leader of the programming staff at CFS, Mr. Shaffer helped perfect the telematic solution offered by Cold Compliance today. He designed the cloud based real-time platform our clients rely on daily for their cold chain peace of mind.
